China's State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING -- China's State Council announced the appointment and removal of officials on Friday.
Wang Haiteng was appointed as deputy head of the National Mine Safety Administration, replacing Zhou Dechang.
Yin Zonghua was removed from the post of deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
