Ningxia's Guyuan showcases specialty products at Shenzhen food expo
Ningxia Hui autonomous region's Guyuan city showcased its agricultural and cultural tourism offerings on Monday in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, seeking to expand market access and deepen industry cooperation with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Held on the sidelines of the World Food Expo (Shenzhen), the promotional event brought together 44 enterprises from the agriculture, culture, and tourism sectors to present a range of specialty products, including high-altitude vegetables, Liupan Mountain beef, Pengyang chili peppers, and preserved apricots. Intangible cultural heritage items, such as embroidery and straw paintings, drew interest from visitors and buyers.
"The beef from Liupan Mountain has excellent marbling and tenderness," said Nils-Holger Glomme, a global brand manager at Koelnmesse GmbH attending the event. "There is strong demand for beef in Germany, and we look forward to further cooperation."
