Han, who will turn 16 in June, said nerves got the better of him on the first hole where he made a bogey five after finding a greenside bunker and missing his putt. "Pretty good round. Irons were beautiful. I would give myself 10 out of 10 for my iron play. Hit beautiful on my draws, better than I thought. Still can get better on putting," the Beijing teenager, 230th in the World Golf Amateur Ranking, said.
"I am really looking forward to the Volvo China Open, especially being a national open. It will be my first time playing against a pro field. Everyone's watching, especially on one of the best courses in China. Enhance Anting. All my friends will come. I am really looking forward to enjoying my game."
