PYONGYANG - The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s top leader Kim Jong-un held talks with visiting Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Thursday, the official Korean Central News Agency reported.

Kim, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, and Lukashenko discussed a series of plans, including high-level visits between the two countries, and exchanged opinions on international and regional issues of mutual concern, the report said.

The two sides also signed agreements on cooperation in various fields, covering diplomacy, information, agriculture, education and public health, it added.

This marks Lukashenko's first official visit to the DPRK, which lasted two days.
