CHENGDU?–?Salvatore Ferragamo, Italy's luxury fashion brand,?celebrated the grand reopening of its flagship boutique at Chengdu IFS?on Nov 5, coinciding with the brand's 30th anniversary in China. The nearly 1,000-square-meter space, located at a prominent corner of the mall, introduces Ferragamo's latest retail concept to the Chinese market.

Designed by architect Vincent Van Duysen, the two-level boutique features a striking fa?ade inspired by Florentine "Bugnato" stonework, reflecting the brand's Tuscan heritage. The transparent street-level design offers clear visibility into the boutique, showcasing the latest collections to passersby.

Inside, the interior combines Chambolle stone flooring with warm marble panels and textured cork wall coverings – the latter recalling Salvatore Ferragamo's innovative use of materials nearly a century ago. Museum-like display niches and custom-designed carpets create a sophisticated atmosphere, while artistic installations,?including sea-blue ceramic tables by Andrea Mancuso,?add contemporary flair.

The ground floor presents the newest handbag and footwear collections for men and women, with special emphasis on the iconic Vara bow designs.?The?upstairs houses ready-to-wear collections, accessories, and an intimate VIP lounge. A dedicated heritage space displays limited-edition footwear created for style icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Judy Garland, highlighting Ferragamo's enduring connection with Hollywood legends.

Completing the experience, the boutique offers personalized "Made-to-Order" services for men's Tramezza footwear, allowing clients to select premium materials and add personal initials while experiencing the craftsmanship that has defined the brand for generations.
