The Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom held a reception in celebration of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in London on Sept 19, attracting more than 400 guests representing different sectors?in the UK.

Wang said that China has achieved two remarkable miracles: rapid economic growth and sustained social stability, both rare in world history, over the past 76 years.

In the first half of 2025, China saw the establishment of 30,000 new foreign-invested enterprises, a year-on-year increase of about 12 percent, with actual foreign capital utilization exceeding 420 billion yuan ($59.04 billion), he said.

He also said that China and the UK, both influential nations, held nine key dialogues this year across areas such as strategy, economy, energy, military, health, AI, leadership, climate, and environment. Both sides should maintain their strategic partnership, respect differences, and pursue win-win cooperation by implementing dialogue outcomes, reducing disruptions, expanding engagement, and deepening mutual benefits to advance China-UK relations.
