For those in Beijing who haven't found the time to visit Beijing's newest landmarks, Olympic Green is opening to the public.
There's no admission fee and no need to apply for tickets.
The 1,135-hectare park in Chaoyang District was shut on October the 6th and reopened on the 10th to dismantle some business and security check facilities after it hosted more than 2.8 million tourists during the week-long National Day holidays from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5.
Staff had removed many of the facilities set up for the Olympics. Those include drink vending booths and the thirty-plus "lucky cloud" houses.
Tickets are necessary to visit the "Bird's Nest" and "Water Cube." The ticket for Bird's Nest is 50 yuan and the water cube is 30 yuan.
The park has no lot for private cars. Visitors are advised to take the subway or bus.
