Western festivals are more creative and innovative, and diverse, I suppose. Take Halloween, its amazing and exciting how many people fake VAMPIRES, ANGELS etc .... you get to meet on that occasion, which appeals to many young people. But Chinese festivals feature family parties. It always follows members of family coming together and having dinner or something like that, I think it lacks of entertainment elements.
