Yunnan Tourism Investment Co. Ltd., is a professional tourism investment corporation established in October 2005 by the Yunnan provincial Party committee and provincial government, and aims to develop tourism in Yunnan, with registered capital of 500 million yuan, which includes 475 million in cash – 95 percent - from Yunnan Investment Holding Group Co. Ltd. Yunnan Shibo Tourism Holding Group Co. Ltd. contributed 25 million in cash. Yunnan Tourism Investment Co. Ltd. now owns eight holding companies and it has total assets of nearly 3.5 billion yuan.
