Donald Trump's granddaughter Arabella Kushner speaking Mandarin was another highlight when Trump paid a state visit to China in November. Trump showed President Xi a video of Arabella singing Chinese songs and reciting the Three Character Classic and ancient poems, winning President Xi's compliments.

This was not the first time Arabella showed her Mandarin abilities, since people learned Arabella was able to sing Chinese children's songs when she was three. Jim Rogers, the famous financier, also decided to move to Singapore in order to help his two daughters learn Mandarin. Speaking Mandarin is becoming a popular trend.
