Du Fujia, a nurse from Meitan County People's Hospital in Southwest China's Guizhou province, volunteered to work at the frontline of the battle against the novel coronavirus on Jan 27.
Her elder brother, Du Fuguo, who lost his eyesight and both hands trying to protect his fellow soldiers from a landmine explosion last year, supported her decision.
