Jiuyuan district in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is to develop a cross-border e-commerce industrial park to boost regional economic growth, with a cooperation framework agreement signed between the district government and a Guangdong-based e-commerce operator on July 24, according to local media.

According to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in developing a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce system dealing with e-commerce, payments, storage, import and export customs clearance, and distribution.

Also, the industrial park will help Baotou-based businesses to tap into the global market.
