Huaqiao held an explanation meeting on financial policies of the Kunshan Deepening Cross-Straits Industrial Cooperation Test Area (Kunshan Test Area) for local Taiwan-invested enterprises on Sept 27.
The meeting also reported on the economic performance of Taiwan-invested enterprises in the first half-year. Total sales in the first half-year of all Taiwan-invested enterprises in Huaqiao reached over 9.7 billion yuan ($1.58 billion), with tax revenue reaching over 24 million yuan.
Han Yingqi, vice-president of the Kunshan branch of Agricultural Bank of China, introduced the new policies in detail and answered questions from enterprises.
