The eighth Expo Central China kicked off in Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 18, 2013, attracting more than 30,000 investors and traders from about 90 countries to Henan province.
The city of Ruzhou attended the expo, promoting 16 project proposals for investment including the Ruzhou Pump Valve Industrial Garden. Meanwhile, companies in Ruzhou also got the chance to build their own exhibition stands. Henan Dream Food Co Ltd set up their stand in the famous quality products exhibition area and Ruzhou Industry Cluster Zone in the Pingdingshan exhibition area.
Ruzhou signed four projects worth 10 billion yuan ($1.63 billion) at the Henan Investment Seminar and Signing Ceremony on the same day, including the Ruzhou Yurun Agricultural Products Cold-Chain Logistics Centre Project with Yurun Group ($407.5 million), the Ru Porcelain Cultural Industry Garden Project with Hong Kong Cade International Investment Group ($500 million), the Humic Acid Urea Producing Project with Beijing Debanghuayuan ($489 million) and the Wine Processing Base Project with Ukraine New Century Co Ltd ($150 million).
Li Quansheng, secretary of the Ruzhou municipal Party committee, and Wanying, mayor of Ruzhou, attended the expo activities.
