One of the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang 2014's sub-forums, Responsibilities of Chinese Traditional Cultural Education, will be held on July 11.
Principals of Peking University, Beijing Normal University and 20 other renowned universities will gather in Guiyang Confucius Institute to discuss the responsibility of university leaders in calling for Chinese traditional education, said Zhu Xinwu, vice-minister of the Guizhou Provincial Publicity Department.

A consensus on Chinese traditional education will also be drawn up during the forum, which includes eight aspects of Chinese traditional virtues: attitude of respect and esteem, innovations and entrepreneurship, inclusive and equitable behavior, unity of knowledge and action, people-centered education, culture-centered education, pragmatism and a sense of responsibility.
Zhu said,"The consensus will benefit the renaissance of Chinese traditional culture, evoking cultural awareness, restoration of cultural self-confidence and promotion of cultural identity."
