Profits of the 24 enterprises supervised and administrated by the Guizhou Provincial SASAC (Guizhou Provincial State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission) reached 24 billion yuan ($3.86 billion) in the last two years. The number of enterprises whose operating revenues exceed 10 billion yuan now totals seven.
In the last two years, the Guizhou Provincial SASAC and supervised enterprises have focused on structure optimization, implementing a series of joint reorganizations in coal, chemical, architectural security, metallurgy and tourism industries.
In 2012, Guizhou Provincial SASAC and supervised enterprises took effective measures to stimulate development in spite of the difficulties in the international market. Seven enterprises'operating revenue had exceeded 10 billion yuan last year.
The increase in total profit and operating revenue for supervised enterprises ranks first and second, respectively, in the whole country.
