Mr Peter Wong Man Kong, BBS, JP, is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley; a deputy of the PRC National People’s Congress; and a recipient of the Bronze Bauhinia Star and Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong. Mr Wong is chairman of MK Corporation, North West Development, Culture Resources Development, Silk Road Hotel Management, and Silk Road Travel Management.
He serves as director of various publicly-listed Hong Kong companies including: Hong Kong Ferry (Holdings), Glorious Sun Enterprises, China Travel International Investment Hong Kong, Sun Hung Kai & Co, Sino Hotels (Holdings), Chinney Investments, Far East Consortium International, and New Times Group Holdings.
Mr Wong is the executive vice chairman of the standing committee of the Hong Kong Pei Hua Education Foundation, an executive vice chairman of the Chamber of Tourism and All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, life honorary chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and the HK Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association, a director of Jinan University, senior member of the University of Hong Kong Foundation for Education for Educational Development and Research, and a member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Silk Road Project. He is also a keynote speaker for cultural and heritage development at universities and government institutes.
