Marc Anthony proposed to Jennifer Lopez within seconds of meeting her.

The 40-year-old singer - who has 17-month-old twins Max and Emme with Jennifer, who he married in 2004 - was convinced he would spend the rest of his life with the brunette beauty when they first met in the 90s.

Marc revealed: "She came to see me backstage at a theatre. As soon as she walked through the door I don't know what hit me. But I probably said the worst thing. I said, 'You're my wife and you don't even know it,' and she was like, 'Excuse me? Well that's intense.' I had no idea where that came from. But she was very cute and now she gets it! She's my girl."

Marc and Jennifer briefly dated after their first meeting, but both went onto marry other people before they reunited.

Jennifer has recently revealed she would love to expand her brood with Marc, but is determined not to get obsessed with having children.

She said: "I would love to have more kids. I don't know if we will. I don't know if that's in the cards for us but we'll see."
