Broadband a 'legal right'

芬蘭立法讓公民享寬帶

Finland has become the first country in the world to make broadband a legal right for every citizen, CNN reported. Starting in July, telecommunication companies in Finland are required to provide all 5.2m citizens with an Internet connection that runs at speeds of at least 1Mbps, according to a law passed in October 2009. Finland has vowed to connect everyone to a 100Mbps connection by 2015.
