Millions of Muslims worldwide mark the start of Ramadan

Millions of Muslims worldwide were marking the start of the holy month of Ramadan on Monday, a time of intense prayer, dawn-to-dusk fasting and nightly feasts.
Saudi Arabias state TV announced the new moon of Ramadan was seen on Sunday evening.
Media reports in Indonesia, the worlds most populous Muslim country, also said Muslims there would begin fasting on Monday.
