China should introduce stricter penalties for violation of copyrights by the Internet media, says an article on the website www.qianlong.com. Following is an excerpt:

According to recent reports, Zhejiang province-based website www.zjol.com.cn used a number of articles and pictures, which originally belong to the Beijing News, without permission. The constant copyrights violation has forced Beijing News to drag the website to court.
