The China Marrow Donor Program plans to upload the information of its 1.45 million donors to the Bone Marrow Donors Worldwide database, the Beijing News reported on July 31.

The organization has already uploaded the information of 50,000 donors to the database, the report said.

According to Hong Junling, head of the program, no marrow donor program can alone provide all its donor seekers with donations that match, thus marrow donation is an international cause.

The organization is China's largest marrow donor program. It has offered 102 donations to people in 10 countries and regions.
