Channels should be expanded to solicit public opinions and efforts be made to give full play to the positive role that people have in the fight against corruption, he said.

He asked discipline authorities to pay close attention to netizens' comments and proposals concerning the construction of the country's anti-corruption system and provide authoritative information to defuse public misunderstanding on major corruption cases in a timely manner.

The official also underscored the importance of providing a smooth online supervision channel for the public and further mobilizing people to participate in the fight against corruption.
