Fifteen-year-old role model Luo Xia tells her story at the "100 Most Filial Offsprings in Fuling District" award ceremony in Fuling district, Chongqing municipality October 25, 2009. Luo was adopted by her foster parents when she was two months old, and has lived happily with her new family since then. But tragedy struck when her foster mother died in 2005 and her father suffered a severe cerebral paralysis the following year. Luo's natural father suggested she return home, but she chose to quit school and support her sick foster father all by herself.
