Lost banking card leads to a world of trouble

Updated: 2009-07-04 12:59 The owner of a lost banking card was taken to court in Foshan's Shunde district, Guangdong province, after someone found and used it. The man learned his banking card was used by some telephone crooks who used his account to receive money they stole from people. He didn't report his card lost because he didn't have any money in his account at the time. After mediation from judges, the man agreed to return 40,000 yuan ($5,854) in the account to the victim who was tricked by a con man. Police are looking for the real crook. |
