China appreciates EU's policy paper towards China

China appreciates the European Union's positive efforts to further strengthen
China-EU relations, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao here Thursday.
Liu made the remarks in response to a question concerning an EU policy paper
towards China which was released on October 24.
Liu said China is carefully studying the document, as it believes that it is
in the common interests and conducive to world peace, stability and development
to continuously enrich the China-EU all-round strategic partnership
Entitled "EU-China: Closer partners, growing responsibilities," the document
focuses on the importance of developing the EU-China relations, the increasing
strength of China, and the policies and measures the EU would adopt to boost
bilateral ties.
