Gold price opens lower in Hong Kong

HONG KONG -- The gold price in Hong Kong went down HK$320 to open at HK$14,610 per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,581.42 a troy ounce, down $34.64?at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.755.
