The China IT consulting market was 2.17 billion yuan in the first quarter, falling 10.33 percent quarter-on-quarter, but rising 30.72 percent year-on-year, technology consulting firm Analysis International said.

IBM, HP and Accenture were the top three with market shares of 12.5 percent, 10.5 percent, and 8.5 percent respectively, Analysys said.

Telecom and financial advice were the main segments, accounting for 28.6 percent and 31.8 percent respectively of the IT consulting market, it added.
