Large Medium SmallThe average ginger price in China fell as much as 53.7 percent year-on-year as of August 2, according to a price monitoring system run by the Xinhua News Agency.
Wholesale price of ginger at Guangming Vegetable Wholesale Market in Liaocheng, Shandong province has hit the lowest point in 10 years to 1.4 yuan (22 cents) per kilogram on August 4, 2012, and the retail price came to 2.6 yuan per kilogram.
