HK stocks close 2.02% higher on Wall Street upsurge

Hong Kong stocks trimmed sharp gains in early trading but still rose 236.61 points, or 2.02 percent, to close at 11,930.66 on Wednesday following Wall Street' s big rally overnight.

Turnover rose to HK$44.72 billion ($5.77 billion) from Tuesday's HK$33.49 billion.
