A highlight of the exhibition is the integration of local Fijian culture. The curatorial team decoded patterns of Fiji's national bird, the green-collared lorikeet, and other traditional Fijian motifs, creating a dialogue between the two cultures. Local USP students were trained as Chinese docents, enriching the visitor experience.
Following the exhibition, Professor Zhao Haiying from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications gave a lecture on the beauty of traditional Chinese patterns and colors, further deepening cross?cultural understanding.
