Wu welcomed the Danish delegation and noted how exchanges and interactions between Xiamen and Danish regions have grown increasingly close, with many opportunities for cooperation.
He expressed hope that the ambassador's visit will serve as an opportunity for both sides to work together in advancing exchanges and cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, marine affairs, science and technology, and culture, helping to deepen the China-Denmark comprehensive strategic partnership.
He also encouraged more Danish enterprises to invest in Xiamen by leveraging platforms such as the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT).
Christensen thanked Xiamen for its warm hospitality and spoke highly of the city's achievements in economic and social development. He expressed hope that the visit will further promote practical cooperation between Denmark and Xiamen, enhance mutual understanding, strengthen bilateral friendship, and bring greater benefits to the people of both sides.
Soren Bindesboll, Danish consul-general in Guangzhou, also attended the meeting.
