Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced it is engaging in strikes in the region to retaliate for Saturday's joint attacks by the United States and Israel.
However, in an interview with China Daily, Wang Chong, director of the American Studies Center at Zhejiang International Studies University said Iran's options for retaliation are limited.
Should Iran block the Strait of Hormuz, global oil shipments would be severely disrupted, sending prices soaring, while a concentrated missile barrage from Iran would pose the greatest threat to Israel.
