Xiamen named among 'Most Attractive Chinese Cities for Talent'
Xiamen has been named one of the "Most Attractive Chinese Cities for Talent" for the fifth consecutive year at the China Best Employer Award Ceremony 2025 on Dec 19.
China's Top 100 Employers of the Year list includes companies such as C&D Group, XMXYG Corporation, and Anta, while Xiamen Airlines has been named to the list of China's Most Promising Employers of the Year for the first time.
Xiamen has also been recognized with several prestigious titles, including "China's Most Attractive City for Foreign Talent", "Talent-Friendly City", and "Employment-Friendly City".
The city has been proactively implementing a global talent recruitment initiative, with the annual growth rate of newly introduced international talent exceeding 15 percent. The city has also hosted competitions, attracting over 2,000 projects from around the world. Among these, the Taiwan Talent Track drew 47 projects. Xiamen also established international talent service stations in Beijing and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Xiamen is committed to building an all-encompassing talent service network, with 18 talent service stations across the city, establishing talent apartments in industrial parks off Xiamen Island, and extending the free accommodation policy for job seekers to the Jimei and Haicang districts.
Nearly 100 events were also held by the city or local districts during the 2025 Xiamen Talent Service Month.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
