Chengdu AG defends King Pro League title, sets world record at Bird's Nest
Chinese esports powerhouse Chengdu AG (All Gamers) successfully defended its championship title at the King Pro League (KPL) Grand Finals 2025, defeating long-time rivals Chongqing Wolves with a 4–2 victory at the National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, on Saturday night in Beijing.
The best-of-seven series delivered six thrilling rounds of top-tier Honor of Kings competition, with Chengdu AG showcasing exceptional teamwork, precise execution and adaptive strategy. Their triumph not only reaffirmed their dominance in the professional league but also highlighted the maturity and growing sophistication of China's esports scene.
This year's Grand Finals made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Attendance at an Esports Match, drawing an unprecedented 62,196 spectators to the Bird's Nest.
