Andersson seizes victory in Shanghai F1H2O showdown
Further drama unfolded as Maverick F1 Team's Alexandre Bourgeot capsized, and later, China CTIC Team's Kyle Maskall had a similar incident. Selio also flipped his boat with only three laps remaining. Despite the chaos, Andersson maintained his composure to take the checkered flag.
Torrente said he focused more on the overall championship battle.
"I gave him (Andersson) space and that was done. After that, I just played defense. I was the second-placed boat. I'm not trying to take any extra risks," he said.
Stefan Arand, who secured pole position during Friday's qualifying but started 19th after an engine change, finished fourth. Peter Morin of China CTIC Team also delivered a notable performance, advancing from 14th to eighth place.
