During President Xi Jinping's 2022 tour to Xinjiang, he watched a performance by the Xingguang Choir, a community choir composed of residents from six ethnic groups. Choir chief Feng Yanxiang recalls that President Xi praised their performance and, upon learning the choir had been together for over a decade, encouraged them to carry on. Today, the choir is still active, sharing their music and passion across the country.
