China's top legislature on Friday adopted a law aimed at enhancing legal education across the country as it wrapped up its latest session.
The law, consisting of 65 articles divided into seven chapters, requires stronger legal education for government officials and juveniles. It also clarifies that the country should establish a system of lifelong legal education for the public.
The measure will take effect on Nov 1.
Lawmakers also passed several other measures Friday, including a revised Arbitration Law and a law to regulate the response to public health emergencies.
