Guizhou Big Data Group chairman under investigation

Xu Hao, chairman of Guizhou Big Data Group, a State-owned enterprise and Apple's sole partner for operating iCloud services in the Chinese mainland, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of Party discipline and national law, provincial disciplinary authorities said on Friday.
Guizhou's discipline inspection commission and commission of supervision announced the investigation on their website, but provided no further details.
According to the company's website, Guizhou Big Data Group was founded in 2018 to support the province's big data strategy and hosts Apple's iCloud services for users in the Chinese mainland.
Xu has spent most of his career in Guizhou and has served in various positions, including vice-mayor of Guiyang. He was recommended as chairman of Guizhou Big Data Group in December 2023 and held the post when the investigation was announced.
