As of 6 am Monday, the National Meteorological Center issued an orange typhoon warning, as the center of Typhoon Kajiki moved into Beibu Gulf and was located about 230 kilometers east of Vihn in Vietnam at 5 am. It is forecast to move west-northwest and make landfall near Vinh by late Monday, with rapid weakening expected thereafter.
