Expert: PLA conducts key-port blockade drills to deter Taiwan separatists

The PLA conducted key-port blockade during the 'Joint Sword-2024B' drills around the Taiwan Island on Monday. That showcases the PLA's ability to disrupt Taiwan's energy imports, strengthening the deterrent against Taiwan separatists, said Zhang Chi, a professor at the PLA National Defense University, in an interview with China Daily.
