HK fencer Vivian Kong Man-wai: Grateful for fans' support

Hong Kong athlete Vivian Kong Man-wai, the gold medalist of the Paris Olympics women's epee fencing, told China Daily in an earlier interview that she is grateful for the support of fans from the Chinese mainland, and is looking forward to meeting supporters in person to express her gratitude. In the women's individual epee event, held on Sunday, Vivian Kong overcame an early deficit and defeated the French fencer, securing the first-ever women's individual gold medal for the Hong Kong team.
