7th CIIE makes faster progress in exhibitor recruitment Release date： 2024-04-11 Source：China International Import Expo Bureau
A promotional event for the automobile, and intelligent industry & information technology exhibition areas of the seventh China International Import Expo took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on April 11.
Attracting nearly 40 member companies of the Shanghai Foreign Investment Association (SHFIA), the event aims to inform the foreign enterprises of the preparations, highlights, and distinctive features of this year's expo.

Wu Zhengping, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, highlighted the CIIE's commitment to introducing new and high-quality products to the Chinese market since its inaugural edition in 2018.
With over 10,000 overseas companies participating in the previous editions, the CIIE has provided a platform for global businesses to showcase and exchange their technologies, fostering collaboration and encouraging the integration of technological innovation with industrial development, Wu added.
Preparations for the seventh CIIE are currently in full swing and the progress of exhibitor recruitment is faster than the same period last year, said Wu. The automobile and intelligent industry and information technology exhibition areas have received a high number of applications from exhibitors, he added.
Huang Feng, chairman of SHFIA, said that many of its member companies now regard the CIIE as one of the most significant events of the year and plan to increase their investment in the expo in the coming years.
Representatives from Forvia, Johnson Controls, Chery Automobile, and the media outlet CGTN shared their experiences of participating in the CIIE. They highlighted the CIIE's unique role in strengthening communication, expanding cooperation channels, and facilitating better development of foreign companies in China.
