Soybean farmers affiliated with Gongqing — a State-owned farming company that's part of Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group in Heilongjiang province — were thrilled when large harvesting machines started working their farmland in recent days.
Gongqing has 13,440 hectares planted with soybeans this year. Patches of the land have turned to gold, creating unique landscapes at the start of autumn.
To ensure smooth operation, staff members of the company were sent to help the farmers make scientific harvest plans, depending on soil moisture content and crop maturity.
The advantages of the large machines were apparent, and good weather provided ideal conditions for the harvest.
