Chinese Gen Zers send the world their new year's greetings
Chinese New Year is just around the corner! With Chinese people all over the world reuniting with their families, this is the most important and joyous festival in China.
In this video, Gen Zers in China join to wish everyone everywhere a happy new year.
"I send my best wishes to our great motherland," one says. "I wish for the country to be prosperous and its people to be at peace," another says. And "Wish our people great success" is another greeting.
These Gen Z Chinese express their optimism about the country for the new country and their best wishes for their counterparts in every corner of this great land.
"I look forward to more economic, cultural and people-to-people exchanges across the Taiwan Straits," says Zheng Yaling from Taiwan province.
"This year we will welcome more Taiwan compatriots to the mainland," says Yang Jinhe, a Gen Zer from Liaoning province in Northeast China. "At the same time, I hope our friends in the Chinese mainland will cross the Taiwan Straits and enjoy the scenery on the other side."
