China's freestyle skiing prodigy Gu Ailing landed an incredible right double cork 1440 at the final leg of the Big Air World Cup series at Steamboat Resort in Colorado, US, over the weekend to become the first woman in history to finish the double-flipping, four-full-rotation feat in an official FIS competition.
The 18-year-old said during a post-competition online interview that she was confident of the trick as she had done it quite a few times during training and was set to put out her own style of performance in future training and in the upcoming Olympics.
