Shanghai reports COVID-19 case in cargo worker at Pudong airport

An individual dealing with cargo from overseas at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, ending about six months of zero local novel coronavirus infections in the city.
The individual works with cargo flights of a foreign airline company, according to the municipal government.
The government said screening of people and locations relevant to the person, as well as related epidemiological investigations, are underway, and will keep the public updated.
