Taiwan youth shows Jiangsu from on high
Yuche Jen, 27, a youth from Taoyuan, Taiwan, has worked and lived in the Chinese mainland for four years. He used to be a sports venue manager in Shanghai, but decided to pursue his passion for making videos in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Subsequently, Jen became a drone pilot and started his own business. "Shooting videos is like sharing stories with people, always bringing me and my audience joy," he said.
Last month, Jen and a dozen other Taiwan youths were invited on a weeklong tour around East China's Jiangsu province to explore the local culture and enhance friendship across the Straits.
With his drone, Jen recorded the journey in Jiangsu and presented a nicely edited video. "With an aerial perspective, I want to introduce different views in the Chinese mainland to more people in Taiwan. I hope my videos could be a bridge of communication between the two sides," he said.
Where did he visit in Jiangsu? What did he see? Watch the video to explore through the eyes of a Taiwan youth.
