China is aiming to complete building a pilot earthquake early warning and instant seismic intensity reporting systems in several high-risk regions by June, the China Earthquake Administration said on Friday. The system can send alerts through various devices including TVs and mobile phones. It can also report the seismic intensity of an earthquake within a minute of its occurrence.

Airlines are required to offer services to passengers regarding ticket refunds and altered flights due to the suspension. The notice did not provide a date when the flights would resume.
