Six provinces lower coronavirus emergency response levels

Six provincial health commissions in China have lowered their emergency response level to the novel coronavirus to second or the third from first, according to notices on their websites.
As of Monday, the health commissions of Guangdong and Shanxi provinces switched to a second-level response. Gansu, Liaoning, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces lowered theirs to third level.
In terms of health crisis emergency response, first is the most urgent and fourth is lowest level.
The commissions said in the notices they made the decisions based on the current situation of treatment and control of the virus.
